Let’s go back to the basics! Are you interested in learning more about acrylic painting? In this two day course, Chantal will cover the fundamentals and beyond, introducing you to the wonderful medium of acrylic paint! Participants will explore colour theory, discover which brushes to use, learn blending techniques, learn how to achieve contrast, and much more!
Beginners are welcome! All supplies are included!
Class 1:
Paint and colours
Colour wheel
Colour recipes
All the different brushes and how to use them
Contrast with black and white
Depth in your paintings
Learning how to paint trees, clouds, rocks, water, mountains, and any suggestions from the class
Class 2:
Review and practice what we have learned so far
How to use your imagination and trust the process
Using what we have learned to create our own Painting
