“Adaptive Art is a program that allows people with intellectual and physical disabilities to explore their creative side while socializing with their peers.
The artistic opportunity offered by this program can boost self-esteem and give a sense of achievement; and the time spent with friends is more important than ever considering isolation issues caused by Covid.
The program is facilitated by Megan Fachini; an instructor who has a disability and therefore values the diversity of her students and the importance of their artistic accomplishments. Megan’s understanding of the challenges faced by this group give her meaningful insight into the value of this program.

The Adaptive Art Program is Free of Charge
Lifetime memberships for adaptive students are now offered free of charge!

Adaptive Art is made possible by the caring generosity of Town of Strathmore, EPCOR Heart and Soul Fund, and Westmount School Staff – Pay it Forward.
